Growing up with several family members who were involved in the medical field made Evan Breth, DPM, develop at an early age a passion for helping people improve their lives. After practicing with a multidisciplinary medical group for years, Dr. Breth ultimately decided to go into private practice and founded New York-based Progressive Podiatry PLLC in 2009. The practice has four locations throughout Brooklyn.
Dr. Breth began his advanced education at the University of Albany in Upstate New York, earning his bachelor of science degree. He went on to earn his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
To further his education and experience, Dr. Breth completed two podiatric residencies in New York City. He went through a podiatric medicine and orthopedics residency at New York Methodist Hospital, then finished a podiatric surgical residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Breth is board certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He holds a professional membership with the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Patients describe Dr. Breth as friendly, accessible, understanding, and personable. He’s known for his great sense of humor and warm bedside manner, treating each patient like family. Dr. Breth believes in being honest and upfront with his patients and offers a patient-centric approach to medicine, spending time educating and helping patients be involved in their health care.
As an avid skier, tennis enthusiast, and martial artist with years of Hung Ga Kung Fu experience, Dr. Breth understands the unique challenges athletes face. He gets patients back in the game as soon as possible.
Dr. Breth likes staying active in the great outdoors camping, canoeing, kayaking, and rafting. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Before college, Dr. Khanna worked as a research assistant at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, where she developed an interest for medicine and research. Dr. Khanna began her medical education at Stony Brook University in New York, graduating cum laude with her bachelor’s degree. She then completed her doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Khanna finished her three-year residency in podiatric medicine and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle at New York Methodist Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She’s board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and American Board of Foot Surgeons. Dr. Khanna even holds professional memberships with the American Podiatric Medical Association.
While Dr. Khanna can treat a realm of ailments that affect the feet, ankles, and lower extremities, she has extensive training in sports medicine, pediatric podiatry, wound care, limb salvage, and diabetic foot care. Her patients describe her as warm and compassionate, going above and beyond to put their needs first.
It’s important for Dr. Khanna to give back to the community and care for the underserved. She even participated in an orthopedic surgery mission trip to Georgetown Hospital in Guyana through the Health Educational Relief Organization.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, Dr. Khanna can communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. When she’s not busy caring for patients, Dr. Khanna enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
